Nike SB and the Skatebrand Carpet Company bring us the latest SB Dunk High. This time the shoe comes in a blue and white colourway, which slowly wears off by skating or wearing and under which hides a yellow upper.
Even though the Carpet Company is still a relatively young label, it has already left a lasting impression in the skateboard ingenuity. Founded in 2015 by two brothers (Ayman and Osama Abdeldayem), the Baltimore-based brand is known for its thoughtful workmanship, quirky graphics and exclusive creations.
For the design of this dunk version, the Carpet Company has really pulled out all the stops. The supple white leather is a great contrast to the semi-transparant blue layer, which is reminiscent of a screen print – the company's hobby horse. When skating, the material wears off over time and a yellow leather and countless unique graphics appear. Among them a lettering on the heel and very special illustrations on the insole. Get this unique, functional design masterpiece before the Abdeldayem brothers dedicate themselves to their next creation.
